The Tao of Putting

The Tao of Putting isn’t a lesson, it’s a scar. It’s what woke me up, what resurrected me. Like being kissed full in the face by meaning after a long, grey affair with mediocrity.

It didn’t whisper; it didn’t coax. It slapped me, spun me around, and said, “Look – this is what it feels like to be blisteringly, breathlessly alive.”

And for a moment, I wasn’t just existing – I was inhabiting myself, every cell drunk on the sheer gall of being awake in the world. It’s earned, not given. And if you blink, you’ll miss the bit that matters.

This isn’t a book only for golfers. Golf here is a red herring, a Trojan horse, a convenient metaphor. This is really about how the ancient whispers of its wisdom can be heard in the most unlikely places: on the putting green, yes, but also in traffic jams, supermarket queues, and conversations with your mother-in-law.

The Tao of Putting is ultimately a lesson on letting go of expectation, of ego, of the need to prove anything.

It’s not about golf. It’s about grace.

If you’re intrigued, offended, or simply curious, read The Tao of Putting
