From my perspective, it’s better to be prepared for something that (hopefully) may never happen, than be taken by surprise when it does. Right now, several areas around the world are facing or have faced:
- Power grids stretched beyond capacity
- Banking systems showing critical stress points
- Supply chains more fragile than ever
- Understaffed emergency services
- Communication networks vulnerable to collapse
Being an alarmist is not my intention. Raising the alarm is, as these are incredibly serious times.
