What Do I Use To Make Videos?

Readers have often asked me what software I use to make my videos.

I used to try anything and everything, but the result was pitiful in terms of conversion and number of views.

My heart would sink with every new failure – and I won’t deny believing that creating good videos was a skill I’d never get to grips with.

I’d see other videos that were literally crushing it in terms of sales and wonder where the makers got their technical know-how from…..or the funding to make them.

So I’d try again….and usually I’d try again after that.

I was told some tricks to use but they were downright unethical (eventually YouTube caught these guys out and closed their accounts!)

Did I feel uncomfortable, envious of others, or like I’d hit a brick wall? I will admit to feeling like a complete failure but I wasn’t going to give up.  If other people could do it, then so could I, however long it took.

Of course I had to put up with the derisory remarks some friends were making. I ignored them and just focussed on gaining the skills I needed for this.

With hindsight I think it was these derisory remarks that created the challenge for me to keep going.  To prove the critics wrong.

It wasn’t until a few months later that a FaceBook ad caught my eye for some software that appeared to automate everything I’d been struggling with.

It included getting attractive and royalty free images (whew!) – breaking down the text into manageable chunks – placing text in different areas of the images – adding royalty free music tracks (another whew!)….to mention a few.

Fast forward 4+ years and the software has been upgraded to incorporate so many new useful features and functions. What I was happy with way back in the early days is a mere shadow of what’s on offer now – brand new (free) Viral Video templates for example.  These’ll save me a lot of effort.

The other good news is that the price has been dropped by 40% for the next few days only (midnight Pacific Time on Friday 21 June).

Small business are suffering today. I speak with business owners all the time about this.  Helping them thrive is becoming more and more central to me.

Take a look at what’s being offered in the Content Samurai Viral Video Pack and see if it can help you in any way:

  • 40% OFF Content Samurai (Save $216/year)

  • FREE access to 480,000+ Storyblocks video clips (Save $199/year)

  • A FREE copy of their Video Marketing Mastery Pack – 5 “fill in the blanks” templates that can skyrocket your online audience

  • Their 5-Minute Facebook Ad Formula eBook which shows you exactly how to create high converting Facebook ads

  • Plus their YouTube SEO Cheat-Sheet that’s been used by over 45,000 business owners around the world!

Last year during a clean up of my YouTube account I deleted the very first video I made using Content Samurai. Looking back it was amateur and dealt with a subject few people want to know about (parasites), yet it was viewed 91,473 times.

Watch this video with an open mind.

You can do this too!
