Crafting Words. Building Audiences.

“Noah, Start Building!”

I’m writing this for small to medium businesses that deserve a level playing field to compete successfully against companies with deeper pockets and stronger marketing that are getting most of the sales.

Somehow we are all involved, whether as participants or buyers.

– – – – –

If you’re in any form of business – whether flipping burgers or running a small empire –  here’s a five-minute clip. Watch it. It’ll make a difference. That’s not a suggestion; it’s what they call in detective films a “strong lead.”

Now, full disclosure: I’m backing this initiative because the author, Jon, is a commercial bloodhound – less “entrepreneur,” more Sherlock Holmes.

Jon is someone I’ve admired, learned from, and, yes, occasionally envied since 2005 – and he’s up to something again. And, as ever, it’s annoyingly brilliant.

He sniffs out what a business is doing wrong and what it should be doing instead of wasting money on lukewarm social media ads – what I term the ‘old way’ because this approach barely offers the lucrative return it once did.

To be more successful, businesses must stand out against their competitors – positioning themselves as the obvious choice in their market. This applies to businesses at all levels – from a stand at a local market to a niche outlet in a shopping mall to that small empire I mentioned earlier.

Running a business has become a contact sport. There’s no denying it: inflation started the downward slide and the cost of fuel, food, energy, housing prices and unfavourable government regulations will at some point impact everyone’s spending power.

I showed this 5 minute clip and the Intro Workshop to a long-term marketing colleague during the week. His response? “Holy Shit. This is next level!”

In a world of echoes, be the original voice

In a digital world bloated with reheated hustle and echo-chamber advice, I’d trust Jon with my wallet and my passwords.

The businesses being left behind today are those that resist change when offered a new opportunity.  Their focus is rarely on what they have to gain, but what they have to give up….all from a familiar attachment to what they’ve done before and the way in which they’ve done it.

Right now we have an Alice in Wonderland moment, combining hope with a genuine amount of despair, especially through the impact of AI.

You can choose to carry on as before or discover a new approach that will make your business omnipresent in your area of operation.

Either you take control of the day, or the day takes control of you

If you think it’s competitive now, you ain’t seen nothing yet. This five-minute clip is for those brave enough not to settle for less. You’ll learn how to position yourself and how you can stop yourself being overshadowed.

Especially as the economic forecast is now looking less “slight drizzle” and more “Noah, start building!”.
